St Thomas More College, 48 Mounts Bay Road, CRAWLEY
St Thomas More College enjoys a central location adjacent to Kings Park and across the road from the University of Western Australia and the Swan River, with major bus routes at our doorstep.
Students at St Thomas More College have access to free tutoring, as well as a range of events geared to help students succeed at their studies such as group study nights
Students each receive 250GB of internet allocation, as well as a choice of 16 or 21 meals in our standard rooms. All rooms at Tommy More are single rooms.
Forget worrying about utility connections, rent inspections and university parking (because we’re right across the road!) Tommy More has it all sorted for you. Move into a fully furnished room or apartment and worry about the important stuff – studying and enjoying yourself.
“Moving to Tommy was an easy decision for me once I realised it was nothing like boarding school.
I came to Tommy as I thought it would be easier than moving out of home and that I would have enough independence from my parents to call myself an adult (but also keep mum happy that I would have some of my meals cooked for me so she knew I would eat some veggies!)
My favourite part of Tommy is the huge sense of community and belonging that I have here. There is always someone looking out for you and if you ever need help there will always be someone there for you. The first week at college is easily one of the best weeks of my life. You meet so many people and end up bonding with the other freshers over things like a fresher dance and laser tag. The second you step foot in the quad in your fresher shirt you know you’re now a part of something that’s pretty special and there is definitely not many other things that are like it.”

No, our College has a mix of students including Perth students looking for extra convenience and independence, rural and interstate students, as well as overseas students.
The best way to get a feel for what a college is like is to visit in person, and on Open Day, not only do we run an all-day morning tea and BBQ, as well as a breakfast (for anyone planning to visit the UWA Open Day and would like to get in and out early – you can register for breakfast here) but all of our staff and students are around on campus too to answer any questions you might have about life here at Tommy More.
Tommy More takes applications until the end of the year, however several of our room types (such as standard rooms with air-conditioning) fill quickly, so we recommend applying as soon as possible. You can apply here (remember to put Tommy More as your first preference)
No, we don’t believe so. Tommy More provides an inclusive price that includes furniture, utilities, internet and more. In fact, we have a number of students who have come to Tommy More after living out of home briefly and found that not only is the price comparable, but there are a number of other benefits, including the convenient location, stress-free experience and close friendships.
Tommy More will be opening the doors one hour before the University of Western Australia’s Open Day officially commences to allow you to beat the traffic and enjoy the rest of your day.
If you’d like to join us for breakfast, please register below. Early bird tours are conducted from 8.00am – 9.00am.
