Important Info for Residents of
Studio & One Bedroom Apartment
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us on (08) 9386 0111 or email Admissions at admissions@stmc.uwa.edu.au.
Arrival to the College
St Thomas More College (Tommy) is situated opposite UWA at 48 Mounts Bay Road, Crawley.
As you are in a Studio or One Bedroom Apartment, it will depend on your lease period for when you can arrive at the College. If you are an international student, please send your flight details as an attachment as soon as you have booked your flight.
For arrival at Tommy More outside office hours (before 8.00am and after 4.00pm) the Resident Advisor (RA) on duty will need to be called on the black phone outside the Administration Building (just follow the prompts). The RA will then collect your Key Card and take you to your apartment. Otherwise, Reception will be open during office hours so you can collect your Key Card from the front desk and someone will be here to take you to your apartment.
For international students attending UWA you can visit International students: The University of Western Australia for airport pick-up. Following the steps, please send them an email to apply for the airport pickup service and do this five days before you arrive. UWA will organise transport from the airport to Tommy. You will just need to confirm with them to ensure there is capacity.

Amenities
All residents in Studio Apartments will have 7 meals included and One Bedroom Apartments will have two meals included. For additional meals, you can fill-out a Meal Plan Upgrade Form from the Finance Department. You can also buy casual meals at any time.
Meals will be in our modern dining room and it can be used for either breakfast, lunch or dinner from Monday to Sunday, and cannot be rolled over to the following week.
Your apartment is similar to a rental, which means you will need to provide all your bedding, kitchen utensils and toiletries. It does come with furniture - a king single bed (studio) or a queen bed (one bedroom), mattress protector and clothes trays. A document has been emailed to you that advises what your apartment comes with and what you will need to provide yourself.
Please read this so you know what to bring with you. However, I am sure you will enjoy shopping for any additional items!

It is a condition of your acceptance to have read and understood the policies, rules and guidelines set out in our STMC Handbook. The Handbook is also a useful guide to life at Tommy More that will help you ease into your new home.
Car Parking
If you are dropping off your luggage, you can use the short-term visitor parking bays in the front of the Admin Building if available. See Reception to get a Visitor’s Permit.
The closest UWA car park is Car Park No. 1. Access is via Hackett Drive entrance. Turn right and follow access road back towards Mounts Bay Road. The car park is located next to the tennis courts.
