Orientation Week.
We have lots of activities and events planned upon your arrival to help you get to know your fellow Tommy family. This page is dedicated to providing as much info as possible in the lead-up to our orientation.
We look forward to you joining us at STMC!
UWA ORIENTATION
UWA will be running their O'Week events throughout the first few weeks of the semester. We have taken this into consideration when planning our College-based events.
Resident Leadership Team.
Tommy is a place where leadership is encouraged at all levels, from personal leadership and responsibility through to taking on formal roles within the College. We believe that leadership emanates from who you are as a person - getting to know who you are, your areas of strength and your areas for development are key factors in your growth as a leader. Tommy, therefore, provides many opportunities for residents to develop their personal leadership capacity and capability.
Our Senior Resident Advisors oversee our Resident Advisor team. Resident Advisors (RAs) are senior residents of the College employed by Tommy to help our support residents. RAs are responsible for ensuring that residents abide by the expectations for living in a diverse and inclusive learning community, and for undertaking after-hours administration and management of the College on weeknights, weekends and public holidays. RAs are responsible and positive role models within the College, and facilitate enhancing community spirit by encouraging residents to take an active interest in the life of the College.
Student Club Committee.
Our Committee President and therefore oversees the Student Club Committee (SCC) team. Your reps are senior residents of the college elected by Tommy students to help support residents with College life. The Committee is responsible for a variety of initiatives around college such
as Sports, Community, International, Social & Publications.
The Committee is seen as responsible and positive role models within the College and facilitates enhancing community spirit by encouraging residents to take an active interest in the
life of the College.
